That’s why we proudly stand behind Project K-9 Hero, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that retired Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs receive the care and support they deserve after their service.
Project K-9 Hero provides funding for lifesaving medical care, rehabilitation and rehoming services, and advocacy for these often-overlooked Heroes. After years of service on the front lines, many of these dogs face significant health challenges. Unfortunately, government funding doesn’t always cover their care post-retirement, leaving Handlers and families to manage the cost alone.
Suncoast Financial’s support ensures these courageous animals get the second chance they’ve earned. From funding emergency surgeries to helping with chronic care, Project K-9 Hero bridges the gap for working dogs who have spent their lives protecting others. Through their Rehabilitation & Rehoming Facility in Whitwell, TN, they provide second chances for dogs who would have otherwise been euthanized.
